Women and Sex

Well, again - men tend to be wired to look at beauty and youth, women at earning potential and power.

So women pull tricks to look cuter and younger, men have started firing back with attempting to lie about status.

It's childish really.

 

"Most?" Not from what I know. "Few", maybe. Not "most." Most straight womyn like the look of a man's, er, manhood, and lesbian womyn aren't repulsed, it just doesn't do anything for them. I don't know many womyn who think penis and balls are ugly, and MOST of the womyn on this thread have attested to this themselves, that they aren't turned off by it.

Goth, you got some weird ideas about females. It's kinda sad, really, but starting to border on a bit of flaming.........

 

Look, I've said my bit, and it's from my experiences and true.

Maybe every woman I've ever known was a lesbian. I don't doubt that, these days.

There was also this "Cathy" strip in which some total boor, bald and fat, got smothered in Hooters girls types when he whipped out his Porsche keys.

 

I've never had a dude show me his ATM receipt or bank book, ever........ (Except my dh, trying to show me how broke we were, LOL! And I don't think he was trying to impress me to get me into bed at that moment.)

Let's relate this stuff back to the original post lest we think I'm just trolling.

This is because for the man it's accepted that he wanted and achieved sex for sex's sake - as an end in and of itself. It's what men will starve themselves for, work for, pay for. Whereas the woman didn't "get" anything out of it. Neither cash, nor the man, nor a mink coat or anything. She just sold her goods for nothing. That is what the general societal attitude boils down to.

 

No, but a LOT of womyn are similar to what I describe. Or at least NOT the man hating bimbos you seem to have had the misfortune to have run into. And although there certainly ARE womyn like you describe, not all are like this either. We shouldn't base our perceptions of any gender on ONE person's experience at all.

 

Maggie - can I trust you to wade in with this sage advice in the "why do men..." or "why are all men" questions here? Just a question.

Ok, now let me speak English to you:

DECLINING does not mean DYING OUT.

Just because a population is declining doesn't mean it is dying out. Populations rise and fall naturally for lots of reasons. It is a natural balancing act. Because birth rates in North America are declining right now doesn't mean they wont rise later. You could see a rise in birth rates if the economy gets better, for example. Just because we aren't keeping up with the baby boomers doesn't mean the population is dying out. That is just stupid. What are the birth rates now compared to 500 years ago? A thousand? Two thousand? More people were dying then then now, infant mortality was much higher, general populations were lower, and people didn't live as long. Did they die out? Nope, humans are still here...we are not dying out.

 

So what do you think the chances are that Western women will want to start breeding again?

 

When I met my husband he worked at a coffee shop and didn't have a bank account either.

I also have never had a man show me a bank statement or ATM recepit to impress me, or give me a phone number.

At my last job there were 2 women there that were generally only impressed with men that had large bank account and spent lots of money on them. But women have a couple words for these types - shallow, gold-diggers, etc... These women don't get much respect from me or the majority of people I know. My girlfriends and I joke and make fun of these shallow women, and assume that they will likely never know the joy real love and companionship.

But just because there are some women like that in the world (as there is men) doesn't mean ALL women are like that. And thinking that was is actually flawed logic. It is called the Ambiguous or Undistributed Middle Term, or more commonly "guilt by association." It is like saying:

"Some members of the country club are short."
"John is a member of the country club."
"John is short"

Let's see...my boss just had a baby. My best friend had a baby in January. My husbands manager i just foundd out she is pregnant with her second child, my husband's best friend had their third child at the end of 2004. My husband and I plan on having children in another year or two. My stepmother has 5 children, I have a younger sister and a twin of my own, my husband also has a sister. My mother remarried a man with 2 kids, one of which is pregnant with her first child. Both the girls I work with have young children as well.

 

The plural of anecdote is not data, and that still doesn't mean our birth rate isn't declining.

 

Well you could have said that instead of making the outrageous claim that we are "dying out" and then blaming it on women. You are dreaming up your own enemy here, and calling it woman.

 

There are some members of America who support Communism, but one can pretty much safely say America is a capitalist society.

 

Birth rates rose this year in Australia. The trend toward having fewer kids later seems to be slowly shifting back to haveing more kids younger in Australia.

The reason birth rates are low is because of lack of support for combining work and babies and a high cost of living.

Western women will start having babies and stop population decline when there is more support such as flexible working conditions
