Yeah, I was lucky I didn't have to leave til Monday around 10am and just went cross country over the grass and avoided the muddy roads. Right by my camp the road was on a hill, and I saw even a 4 wheel drive truck get stuck in the mud on that hill. He was spraying mud all over and people were cheering for him.

haha i came back tripping after the dead to find my tent GONE! somebody picked up our tent and moved it over about 8 feet. i was so damn confused after that happened. hahaha. i guess someone had to get their car out but damn, if they were gonna move the tent, they could have at least re-staked it. hah.

oh man. our stake's were the reason our's fell. manly ol' ethan telling the females that he would build a tent the fox himself couldn't blow down.... i only put the stakes in the sides, instead of the corners. that's probably what happened =(. i just realized by you saying "re-stake"... i wont tell them though. it was definitely only the rain's fault.

we had a pretty big tent that we made sure to super stake it, it stayed quite well, after that bout sunday it stood through, but during the dead we were there for the 1st set so we chilled in it. we rolled both nights it rained so bad, so i don't think it would have upset us that bad (hence why the mud and sore feet were just kind of like old hat, we just rolled the skirts up kicked off the shoes and trudged through). one of our neighbor's tents had like flown almost 50 feet away and finally got stuck between 2 cars, lucky for them. we were very lucky though, we made sure to zip everything up and our tent was just a little wet, not so much though. all in all the rain didn't hurt us much. :)

This was my first year there and I had the time of my life. I don't know how anyone could of had a bad time there. I think Friday was the best day, even though it was so hot, there was no rain and everything was still clean. It was great shrooming for DMB. Saturday was fun too but it poured so hard, and it got so cold I couldn't take it anymore. I unfortuantly left before the Dead. (I was wearing a bathing suit top and a little skirt, so I was freezing my ass off) After all the partying and fun on Friday and Saturday I was a little drained Sunday but still had a great time. I didn't party Sunday because we decieded to leave Sunday night instead of Monday. The people there were amazing, I met the best people and I didn't see anyone fighting. Everyone truely seemed to just love each other. (OH yea on Friday night during DMB some guy next to us was passing around this big bag of shrooms just letting everyone take a few and eat them, I thought that was really cool concidering alot of people were just there to try to make some money) Sunday night the portapottys were overflowing which was really nasty. I couldn't even go in there, We have a 73 VW Bus which we took down there so I went all the way back to our site just to pee in a bucket in our bus. Besides the dirty porta pottys and the garbage everywhere, I have no other complaints. And as for the people that were complaining about the heat, rain, mud, ect... What do you think they all did at Woodstock? What kind of huge festival would it be without that stuff? I just took off my shoes, (And threw them away because I was too messed up to carry them all night) and ran around in the rain and the mud. I will definitly be there next year! And I'd love to meet up with more people this time.

This was on the front page of the Tennessean yesterday...or the front of section B... I can't remember. This year, I kind of felt like there might not be another next year, or it would at least be so much different and so much more trouble that it wouldn't be worth it. I noticed a huge difference between this year and last year, so much that I doubt I'll go again in 2005. But, if I did, I wouldn't mind paying $7 to help out Manchesterites. :D This is a pretty good article.

i had a pretty good time at bonnaroo. the people i went with though werrent so crazy about the music and liked to sleep ALOT. they were kinda slugs the whole time... i had to drag them outta the tent to go see music because i did not just drive from maine to tennessee to sleep!

we left on sunday too because they were so miserable. i was sorta ready to go anyways because i was sick of being so hot and yuck.
the bands i saw were great though. i LOVED Umpreys McGee. i met this really cool guy brian there... he danced with me til 430 in the morning... then i had to leave cuz i had to check in with my friends. i loved how moe. came out during their setbreak and played. i love moe.! i also really really liked chris robinson and the new mud. im gonna be seeing them a bunch more this summer cuz they are playing with moe. quite a bit on the east coast.
i'm not sure if ill go again... or if i do, it will be with more positive people. my peoples were bummers...

Yea bonnaroo was cool, the people I went with were lame but I just went and did my own thing and met sooooooo many cool people. I had front row for Dylan, but he sucked! and Dave/Trey and that was the first show of Dave that I actually loved, he was amazing. Steve Winwood was all right and I had front row for him and the Dead. Unfortunately I had to miss Sunday but otherwise I had a blast. It pissed me off though when it was done raining and we were waiting for the Dead to come on the staff was wiping the water off the stage "roof" and all that water soaked us in the front rows.
I think the phish vermont show is gonna be killer too!!!

oh yea 3 of the poeple that were in my group pussied out on friday night and got a hotel. a few others bitched alot about the heat then when it rained they bitched about that. i just didnt like that big surpise of water pouring on you after the rain stops from the stage crew. it's so annoying hearing people complain all the time. next year we should make a group of hardcore people to go to bonnaroo!

    p.s.
i just dropped off a few cameras to get developed and i got them on picture CDs. i took a bunch of dave, bob, trey, and the dead so if you guys want me to send them to you let me know!

Mother nature opened her arms and legs - the sun and heat, the rain and wind, the mud!!!!, its what the south is albout - had it snowed, i might have gotten a little cranky - anyofu remember that sunset on sun night before trey - that amazing orange color in the sky and on the ground, wow - crazy cool - maybe it was shroomies though - naw - peace luv & pot - MGDG
