Christiania- whats up?

Beer, now your talking. Stella Artois is the stuff for me.
Grolsch is great with that flip-top lid.
Amstel and Heineken is all you can seem to get in A'dam,
on draught, if you've been often. Can never get my head
around why other beers and lagers are not sold on draught
around the Centrum.? Also, does it bother you much at
the amount of froth you Dutch people like in their glass.
This would be an out-cry and sin in the UK with all that froth.LOL

 

People seem to like the amount of froth here for some reason. There is a saying that it has to be the size of 2 fingers.

I never go to amsterdam, but also in other pubs in the country you can't pick a lot of different brews. You can get other beers in Irish pubs though, but i can imagine you want something else for a change when in an other country.

I also like Guinness, but can't drink much of it...

Hertog Jan is also very good dutch beer

 

I'll look out for Hertog Jan. Love trying new beer and I've had
some very unusual ones in my time, but Stella, for me, hits
all the right spots, ice cold and filled to the brim.
I could have cried when I had my first lager in the Netherlands
where there was a load of froth in it, leveled off with a spatula.
I stood there and thought they were taking the piss, infact
every time I get served a pint in NL makes me cry, I will never
get used to all that froth, unlike UK.

 

in australia they say "im paying for the beeya, not the snow on top" or some shit like that
i drink heineken mostly, sometimes other stuff but never a german beer.
