I recently attended the blues fest in Chicago. There, amongst the fest goers and merchants, was the army recruiting double-wide. There were also protestors demonstrating and exercising thier constitutional right of freedom of speach holding up signs stating "bring our soldiers home" and "recruiters go home". They weren't chanting or shouting or being disruptive at all. While I was talking with them, "fest security" started thier gestapo tactics and tried to get them to leave the park. I happen to host a radio show in Chicago and had a press pass that I had around my neck inside my shirt. I pulled the pass out and told the protestors that I would be discussing this harassment on my radio show. Eventually the police showed up and security and police had a little circle jerk discussion amongst themselves, pointing rather animatedly at me. The decision came down to leave the protestors be and move on to real security matters. Fucking assholes!
"Gestapo Tactics" would have involved marching the prosters into a boxcar and had them gassed in a concentration camp you fucking drama queen.
