It's more than "just"a look or a glance...there's so much more meaning behind a stare. A lot of people don't seem to realize this. So here's the scene.... You see a fine man/woman standing on the sidewalk with his/her S/O, waiting for the light to change so they can cross the street. You look at the VERY attractive man/woman and you catch him/her staring at you, as if they're not even with their S/O at all. At that point, what goes through your mind???
If someone stares at me I usually think 1 of 2 things: "I must have food or something on my shirt or face" "Why's she looking at me? She can do better than me" Hooray for low self-esteem!
yeah I usually think something along the lines of "crap! my fly must be undone!" or, if quick check of my gimp status reveals no unsightly stains or creases or wierdness i'll move on to "maybe I know that guy from somewhere...but WHERE" and it will puzzle me for the rest of the day.
The man wouldn't be so attractive after all if he was staring at me instead of paying attention to his girlfriend/wife.
I would think the person was a little sleazy if they were with thier S/O. If they were alone, I'd think it was nice and smile at them.
I think its okay to look... I stare at hot guys and girls all the time... But if their staring at me I normally feel like I have something on my face.. .... But its a compliment to be stared at
