never thought this would happen but...

I have completely lost interest in the 60's altogether....yes quite odd for me, seeing as how I was obsessed when I first got here, but now it's like, "ok this sucks balls...movin' on now". I don't even like the music that much anymore, the cd's are just...slowly rotting away in my case. I trust you all thought, I don't think I will ever like any music from our time period right now, I can't bare rap, anything with rap, country, punk(sucks ass), or the new "rock." I don't see how people like punk from nowdays, it's fake and shitty. Greenday is crap. Man, today was the greatest day of my life(one of the many 'greatest days'). Just because I have lost interest in the 60's, doesn't mean I shall lose interest in talking to you all. I enjoy it too much to stop completely. Pretty much the only bands I like nowdays, is Coldplay, and NIN, and jerry cantrell.

 

i know what its like being burnt out on something. For perhaps 2 years straight, i was in love with modest mouse. Listened to them nearly non-stop, but then all the sudden, whether it be their new found fame or just listening to them to much, i just didnt find much interest in em.

After about 4 months or so, i listened to them again and realized that they are really great! just when you do something so often, it kind of ruins it for ya.

Perhaps in acouple of months, or years, you will start finding yourself fascinated with the 60's, but then again, i wouldnt know, im not you

 

i friggen love coldplay..

 

coldplay is a band i could never love, but they are also a band i could never hate.

most current music sucks Dipset, NIN, White Stripes, and Mindless Self Indulgence are all of the current music I like... 'cept for a few songs by various artists I don't usually like

I loved Toxicity their new shit isn't anywhere near as good... and I hate the new singer guy BYOB would be soooo good without him but he completely ruins it for me

 

I listen to irish\other folk punk hybrids....... it's how I get through the night......

 

Then maybe you should consider getting some good '60s music.

the ones i have ARE good, i am just sick of listening to them because i used to like every freakin' second of my life.....perhaps i will like them again but i dont see that happening anytime soon.
