I did come into a little bit of money by selling my glasto camping ticket... but blew the money in thrift shops at the weekend *doh*

 

my sister had the lead singer with velvet revolver stand on her shoulder she said so he could get to the top of a fence to sing

and I had two spare tickets to this event so I could have gone, and I offered them to people I knew and no one wanted them

Downloads on chanel 4 in about half an hour...

 

I just found out that Sabbath played an intimate warm-up show for Download in Aylesbury on June 6th!

Damn it all to buggery. That would've been great to have seen them in a small, sweaty venue, cranking out some Snowblind!

 

I just watched some of download on channel 4 last night.. and Slayer looked feckin amazing!!

Slayer were fecking amazing along with megadeath, nightwish, motorhead, lacuna coil, black sabbeth and not forgetting System

 

Grr, missed it all ... did they show any Dinosaur Jr? Dinosaur Fucking Jr!

 

Yeah man! Some people thought slayer were boring, because generally they do play the same songs every gig... but I saw them for the first time at download and stood in a headbanging awe at the band. Especially dave lombardo, who I am nicknamed in my band (although I'm a girl heehee). Man they were all so totally cool! Can't wait to go back next year
