where did the love go?

well ...im really sick of only seeing and hearing about hatred too. one thing that stands out at me is how music has changed. i listen to like nothing new except maybe country. people used to sing about love and peace and freedom and it was awesome and trickled down through the people who listened, heard and there was actually a feeling of love amongst the people that made up the future of this country. today i could get on da mic you know what im sayin' and talk bout how i pack heat and how many people i've capped and i'd be the baddest, most illiterate, hip motha fucka around, ya heard? then i could look around and see kids killing kids and in every city u go to u see nothin but another homie thats fly or at least thinks he is and thats the difference i've mostly noticed from the young people then and now. i dont know how much music has to do w it for sure but i think it's gotta alot to do with it. peace people and be cool. spread love

I'm the same way, especially at like school, I'm calle d a dirty hippie and shit all the time and my friends are like "beat that kids ass, you can take um out, how can you just take that?" bleh, I'm just like, whatever, and just 'cause I didn't get worked up, it made the other people feel stupid, and they actally like came up and apoloized to me for being mean. It's quite amazing how cool people can be if you just chill out :sunglasse
