heh, I better not see some one show and American Flag. I mean it is a sybol for freedom, or it was, but what has become of that which flies the flag has brought nothing but disgrace and dishonor to that which it was founded on. Free country? then why aren't we free to smoke weed, or free to drive without a seatbelt, hell its my FREE choice to do those things, they don't harm any one other than myself. I mean, I agree to the max with the laws for stealing and killing, and other things which endanger others. If we would all just learn to walk and stop polluting the earth with our machines and learn to live with mother earth we truely would be free. Most of the laws we have revolve around the machines that we all work so hard at to gain in life, but to what purpose? I mean when we die it all just goes away. If people would learn to advance themselves mentally and spiritually they will have all they will ever need after death, because those are the things that live on forever (somewhere). Heh sorry I guess I got off topic. But no, maybe we should have some sort of contest to see who can make the best symbol for freedom, no award of course, but it would be great to know that you made something like that eh?
Dude! We should Defintily do the competition. Like ppl could upload their own drawing to this site and then others could vote on them. It'd be a great thing to paint on protest signs since no one will no what the hell it is at first making it a good center of media attention.
How about the butterfly? Plus people could personalize their own butterfly with colors and stuff so in a way it could be like a universal signature but different for everyone lol. If the idea catches on of course...

Yes. Furthermore it would be moronic to use a sign derived from (pre-)christianity, which has quite successfully strived for the limitation of personal freedom since centuries before the scriptures had even been written.
