Pink Floyd to play at Live 8 in London

Four members of Pink Floyd will play together for the first time in 24 years at London's Live 8 charity concert for Africa on July 2. Guitarist David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason and keyboard player Richard Wright will be on stage with bassist Roger Waters for their first public performance since they played at London's Earls Court in 1981.

 

i thought it was 25 years because my cousin told me that but who cares it's still cool that they're not bithcing at each other and playing together.

 

This sucks the only way to get tickets is at random selection, after you answered a question!

I know, I heard it on the radio today & thought it was a joke. I'm beyond thrilled!

 

i live right outside philly and im bummed that i wont be able to go to the one in london. they get floyd, and we get eminem? i dont see the trade off. does anyone know who else is playing in philly?

 

i wish i could see that i would love to go see a pink floyd concert that would be hip as hell
