Isn't it amazing and sad to see millions of people faithfull followers of religions without God. Whether it's Islam, Judaism or Christianity not to mention all the sects and groups that claim to be spiritual. God being Love, a religion without love is a religion without God. A religion which allows the oppression of woman, to degrade her, to humiliate her by forcing her to be covered in black from head to toe is obviously a religion without God. A religion that pretends war can be holy is certainly a religion without God. A religion whose leaders live in luxury, enjoying the earthly wealth without sharing is definitively a religion without God. Therefore, all Muslims, Jews and Christians of the world find themselves stuck in religions without God. And as long as they stay in the dark, they'll never know the God they pray to in vain, and from which they distance themselves a little more everyday. Only in Utopia, a world without money, where love predominates will we see God present in action, and all religions will be obsolete because in Utopia man won't live for God but in God.
Some good points, and your last sentence rocks, but I can't go along with the "all Muslims, jews, christians" part. Some people call God by whatever name they've been taught and go to whatever church they've been broiught up in, but they still practice the basic message of most of the worlds belief systems, "Do unto others..." I don't think you have to belong to a religion to experience God, but I don't think belonging to one necassarily excludes you either.
This amounts to saying that no Jew, Muslim or Christian knows any love. That seems very harsh. And probably, thank God, untrue. The leaders of religions may be corrupt in some cases, but it doesn't follow that the ordinary and sincere believer is tainted in the same way. And what of Hindus and Buddhists? Wiccans and Pagans?
This is where you lost me. The sheer arrogance of some Christians to believe that my life is without love, without spirituality, without devotion, without light, without life, that I do not respect women, and that I live in a world of luxury. I am not Muslim, you know nothing of me, and you obviously know nothing of Islam to make such charges. People like YOU are the reason I am no longer a Christian, no longer believe in your God. Please, keep talking, keep reminding me why I am the strong, healthy, happy, and yes, unwealthy person I am today. I'll only smile a little more.
God humiliates everyone in some way. War is holy. It is made by God. All things are holy. God wants to give you wealth personally so you know it comes from God. God won't make you fabulously wealthy if you are going to give it to everyone and distract them from the fact that the wealth comes from God, not from some leader. Umm. God is already here. God makes poor people poor and rich people rich. It's just the way God is. If God wanted this world to be without money, it wouldn't have money in it.
In the time of Rumi Islam might have been on the right track, but they have lost it since then. In my opinion no religion is the best religion.
comming from the guiy who lists his religion in his profile as Hindu i see a very strong lack of religion in hinduism [SARCASM ALERT SARCASM ALERT!!!!]
You cannot be hindu onless you're born hindu. Therefore Hinduism is not my religion but the only religion I know which has love within and the only one that tolerates all religions. The saint Ramakrishna said: "God is in all men, but all men are not in God." And I could add, God is probably in most religions, but most religions are not in God, they're into money.
You've got the Raelians. They don't believe in God, but space aliens and free love and weirdo crap like cloning and dressing like Mr. Spock in Vulcan robes...
yeah i relized you would probobly say something about how religion and spirituaitly are different, and i agree to some extent... its just one of those things, you know
Actually, some Hindus have very little love for Islam. The conflict over Kashmir doesn't show much tolerance.
