The saddest thing about this is that far from stopping this trend, this attempt at legislation is just going to encourage it. If you sag your pants for any reasonother than you can't afford a belt or the proper size pants you're following a trend (unless you don't own a tv and have no idea it is a trend and woke up one day and decided to sag your pants) and that's what most of the people poking fun are trying to get across here. Actually, in this day and age it is perfectly acceptable to start a sentence with a conjunction as long as it's informal. You see it all the time in novels and essays.

Anyway, to get back on topic. Of course, a law to tell people how to dress is stupid and should never even be proposed. However, I believe that those kinds of pants look stupid on everybody who doesn't happen to be an attractive female.
