BLUES fuck anything from led zeppelin, to lynard skynard, to Stevie ray, to Clapton, to cream and ZZ TOP for sure. Listen to Tres Hombres, ZZ top's first album and Rio grand mud(ZZ top's first three albums) The band, George thorogood all that stuff is good. Then Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Rush. don't forget blink 182 (they got me into music) I know I'm forgetting a lot but stuff with a lot of guitar is the best.
Metal is the only way to go. Lamb of God, Slipknot, Metallica, and I know they're not metal but System of a Down. And Tenacious D is good too.
