washing with sea salt

    okay so i bought some sea salt and i want to know how much sea salt to mix with water so i can wash my dreads. any help will be great. thanks ryan

    I would prefer sea salt out of the ocean its alot more natural and u can also use lemon juice.

    i think it was a one cup to one gallon of water? not sure though

    but make sure you rinse with regular water too becuase too much salt can build up and flake

    i use either a 4:1 water salt ratio or a 3:1 depending on how salty i want it, as for washing it out, what i do is spray my whole head nice and good before a shower, then wash my hair, then spray again and wash out with water, ive been experimenting for a few years with this and it has proven the best method for me.
