These are the lyrics to a song I wrote.
    Here's the music: play

    City streets; city lights
    City cars; and city nights

    Take me; take me anywhere
By now I might not even care
Resign myself to what ever's in store

    City streets; city lights
    Crazy life; crazy sights

Lay me down in grassy ground
I'll sleep in shelter from the sound
The sound; the noise; the madness of it all

Hide my head; hide my face
    Take me to open space

    Differents moods and different modes
The slush of tires on slippy roads
The buzz; the talk; the sound of shoes on stone

Hide my head; hide my face
As I try to move in grace

    Take me; take me anywhere
By now I might not even care
    Resign myself ...

P.S. The quality is poor; and the music will only play in the right channel in some applications! (...oops)

It is beautiful, but yeah, the quality was poor, I'm sure it must be much better without the light buzz I heard.
Maybe I'm too sensitive today, but I was really touched by the lyrics.
I loved the song. I won't even try to find words to express how I felt while listening to it... some things are better left unsaid; besides, you would probably think I'm exaggerating.

Clover, I hope it didn't seem rude that I didn't reply until now - I only read your post two or three days ago (I didn't realise you had actually responded). Sorry about that!

I'm really glad the song moved you like that. The reason I didn't reply straight away was because I was going to try record a new version - as we both said, the one linked to above is very poor quality - but I haven't had the time to do it. I might post a link to it here as soon as I do though.

    All the best
