I cannot believe this, the impossible has happened, hell (if there is one) has frozen over, and Bush is out of the White House (oh, wait that didn't happen; sorry :( )

I can't believe that Pink Floyd's gonna settle thier petty differences and play again!!!!!!!

it is pretty big news , I would imagine this will boost people entering the texting competiton to try and win tickets.

I wonder if they will do anything apart from this one event

wow!!! Finally. They were like the last classic rock band to reunite and the one that needed to do it the most. Finally. damn I wish I were on that side of the Atlantic. Let's hope they fall in love all over again and decide to tour the US and put out a new album...that would be so sweet. I've listened to every Floyd album so many times that it's been four years or so since I could even stand listening to one of them.

Just one charity gig? If they toured the world and donated ticket sales to charity they could end world hunger.

1994 Toronto's CNE Stadium (now demolished and where I saw my first concert (Guns and Roses) Three Nights of Pick Floyd, the greatest concert I've ever or will ever see (until they tour again).Better than every concert I've ever seen rolled into one. What the U2 Zooropa tour wishes it could have been...

They didn't sell the tickets, it's a free concert. They gave them away through sending text sms messages to a certain number. (This is what me mate told me)

Im praying, putting all my good energy into the idea that those boys are sitting around smokin a bit fattie and saying 'what was it we were so worked up about all those years ago?' and just straight up forget it all and take the world by storm. hell yeah, we can dream!!! I know i posted six or seven times on this thread today, but i cant stress enough how happy this makes me, and i see and guess there are others like me who feel the same. let's carry that energy all the way to the UK so they's can feelit and stay together...

I swear, if John Lennon and Keith Moon both came back from the dead and those two bands toured togetherit wouldn't be half as exciting...

Floyd is my favorite band. I NEVER, EVER, EVER considered Waters coming back not EVEN for a charity concert.

I've never been more happier being wrong in my entire life!

I wasn't interested in going due to the huge crowd and the bands were good, but I'd seen most of them before on their own, and I was happy with that decision.

    Until this morning.

Needless to say, I have texted...
