I want to make a web site that is a slide show of images and texts.Can I download any software for free? I am running on Win98.
I don't know of ANY you can use on a website. You could do a "Gallery" with captions. You might check with your HOST and see if they know of anything. Unless! You use Flash and make your slideshow. Can someone help him with Flash? I know that .gif's suck bandwidth while the user downloads them. (NOTE: I don't know ANYONE who likes music on a webpage.) Best of LUCK to ya Bilby!
You don't need software to do this. All you need to know is a little javascript. If you don't have the time to learn you can find a script on either of these sites http://dynamicdrive.com http://javascriptkit.com that will do what you want.
