Hey! I'm new here. I've been reading a few posts here and there. You all seem to be great individuals and I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you real soon. My name's Adam and I'm 24. My dad's Palestinian, my mom's Polish, and I'm Canadian. I speak/read/write English and French. I'm currently studying Software Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal. I love music, a bit of everything, but moslty rock/metal; especially political bands like Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, and Audioslave. Alright, well I guess that's enough for now. Lates!
So, planning on a trip around the world to find your roots, Adam? I find that having parents with such ecclectic backgrounds is really interesting. I'd like to welcome you too although I'm still a guest myself. Peace on.
Hi everyone... this is my first post here I suppose this is the place to begin... I'm Amelia or Mia, even Amoeba if you like, and I'm 17 and at college doing History, Art, drama and Japanese. I speak a little french too I guess. Adam - my mum's Canadian, and we go back there every summer to see our family. We live in Prince Edward Island So anyway, enough of my waffle - Hi everyone, nice to meet you all!
Thank you all for the warm welcome. No SLammon420, I don't get a lot of chicks with my French because half the population here speaks French, so it's not much of a bonus, haha. As for the trip around the world, it would be nice, but I haven't really traveled much, except camping each summer somewhere in Canada. I went to Poland twice, when I was 3 and 6, don't really remember. As for Palestine, not that easy to visit... I was lucky enough to go to Paris last June, that was nice. Greenpea, when are you going to PEI? I'm going camping in Cape Breton at the end of July, beginning of August for about a week with some friends. Then we're gonna spend a few days in Halifax and a few days in PEI. We've been wanting to go to PEI for a few years now, but it never worked out. Is the water warm there, at the beaches that is?
Thank for the wam welcome, people! I'm doin' just fine, Gulfwinds. And yourself? Adam - I'm going at the end of July till the end of August. The water is generally warm... thought it also depends if it's a sunny day or not! But it's quite pleasant. Sounds like you'll have a great time!
