i find that after i say a word repeatedly it loses all meaning. like costume or banana. but some are just instantly strange and feel unnatural to say or type. what do you think those are? i think awkward looks terribly awkward to type. i always feel like i'm spelling it wrong. and fog. squiggle is weird too. also the term "it looks pretty quiet over there" makes no sense to me. how can something look quiet?

well certain words always seem kinda ackward to me bc my spelling is horrible sometimes, ill start thinking of word and it seems so odd to me all of a sudden. i wont be able to remeber how to spell it and i just keep thinking how funny it sounds.....
I cant think of a particular word that feels weird to type, but I have always found silent consenants to be a bit of a mystery. Take knife for instance, who decided that the 'k' needed to be there? I think they should be stabbed

for me the word photography is wierd to spell i always feel like im spelling it wrong. and the saying :"that really gets my goat" i find stange as well there are a few things like that i just cant get my head around
i officially love you. you're so cute!! me and my roomate will actually sit for hours and say weird ass words like a million times till they make no sense, or you can't even say it anymore. Words are so weird. Restraunt is a weird one to say...and type too...i dont even know if i spelled it right cuz its turning weird on me lol....same with wrinkled...say wrinkled 10 times and make sure you over pronounce it.....your tongue gets so confused after lol....man i have too much time on my hands sometimes.
I know what you mean. Say "fork" over and over again. It makes no sense. I wish I knew why that happens. If you stare at a word long enough it just looks ridiculous.
FINALLY someone who knows about this!! i ALWAYS do this and i'll always ask people 'isnt this such a strange word' and htey just look at me all weird, like last night i typed special and then i thought about it for about ten minutes straight it was always on my mind, such a strange word! special special then i have to stop thinking about it cause i cant say it without it being weird
Wanna hear a funny story? I can't stand it when people say "It's small potatoes," because this one time in class my teacher said "It's small potatoes..." and right after he said it this kid goes, "...Make the meat look larger." Now I laugh everytime I hear someone say that. I also think "ointment" is a weird word...and "world", it's kind of hard to say. Yep...words are weird (and so is the spelling of "weird") -Kate
