For the last 24years of my life, I thought I was normal... until a few days ago! Here's my story... When it comes to erections, I've always thought that some pointed straight up, some staight in front and maybe others somewhat down (just as some are curved up, down, left or right). However, from recent discussions, I came to consider that a "normal" erection angle (for a young stud in his sexual prime) would point to the sky. I had heard that before, but thought it was just a "belief". But I asked a former fuck friend and she confirmed that all the other guys she's had had their hard-on "scratching their belly". So I'm starting to think it's more that just a belief... And when you think about it, the part of the penis that's inside the body is maybe at a 45deg. angle, so the erection should follow that angle, no? I'm a little concerned (not that much, but still curious) since I'm definitly pointing straight in front of me since my very first hard-on! My girlfriend says it's because I have to much weight to lift (I'm somewhat above average size)... but I'm still half-wondering if I should go see a doc... I've never had any problem with it, but... well... Guys, but mostly girls who have seen their share of hard-ons, tell me, I'm I a freak ? Is the belly-scratcher a norm (not that I want to be in the norm, I just want to know if I have a condition)? Is it more frequent for well-endowed guys NOT to have that belly-scratcher??
I always thought that if a male was standing up the normal erection pointed straight out from the body. And then while laying down the smaller ones pointed straight up and then the big heavy ones floped over to lay on the guy's stomach. I don't think you should worry about it. Nothing to see a doctor about. Its just the way your penis is. I bet you have a wonderful penis. Tootles -CB
I bet you have a wonderful penis too! My bf's does the exact same. And he asked me the exact same question. He's the only guy I've even been with, but as far as I know your original ideas on the direction of a guys penis are dead on. Everyone's different! I think straight out is perfectly normal..
the penis does things. until it hurts it's "normal". don't obsess with wats normal. try to dispell your insecurities. if you ask you're are normal you'll usually get a you're normal response.
Standing up, mine is about 45 degrees. Lying down, it is flat against my stomach. I've got a big penis, so the weight flattens it down when I am lying down.
Hey dont worry, penises come in all shapes and sizes and ive seen a fair few different ones. Be them pierced, bent, small, large, fat, thin what ever! The yare all beautiful in their own right (unless they are covered in warts because i dont think i could handle that :S) but still what ever way ur penis points as long as it causes no physical harm just love it
the first guy I was with was straight out, and maybe even a little downward pointing. So when I was with the next guy, I thought it was weird that it was straight up. It doesn't really matter, you're perfectly normal! Everyone may have their preferences, but you're definitely fine.
wouldn't worry about angle.. medically speaking if it gets stiff and u can have sex.. well u have a normal anatomical and physiological penis.
They can do lots of things and still work fine. When standing up, mine has a downward curve, and when lying down it's mostly pointing up. But either way, it would hurt to have mine touch my stomach when hard. Mine just wasn't meant to go there.
i dont think ive ever seen a guys penis stick straight up towards the ceiling, either straight out or a 45degree between straight out and straight up.. i thought that kid was weird though... but unless i happen to have a thing for guys with 'freak penises' id say youre normal. fine and dandy
