*sigh* I'm actually quite sick of hearing about the MJ trial.
But I suppose for the sake of posting under this thread I'll make it a bit worth your time, eh?
I'm not going to accuse him whether or not he did it; despite the evidence, or whatever else they've found there's always exceptions [i.e. being framed] and in the same token, there's a lot of things that point to him that lead me to believe it's possible that he's done it. either way, I don't really care. I don't mean I don't care about the children that were possibly molested...but I mean I don't really give a shit what celebrity does what.
Children are molested everyday, and the one trial that's all over the news is Michael Jackson because he's famous. It sickens me. It sickens me that some people can be so amused by someone else's life just because of their status [and for the record, I'm NOT referring to any of you]
I feel sorry for the children if that indeed happened... But, at the same time I also think it's kind of low when people will actually stop listening to an artist's music because of the things they have done... it's music, and by listening to his music in no way should that have to imply that you like him as a person. [not saying I'm a fan, I think it's pop junk] But, also remember the whole R.Kelly scandal that went down; [I never was a fan of him either] I knew a lot of people who were huge fans of his music up until the whole incident... I don't know, maybe I'm just extremely nonchalant...

I'm not really making much of a point here except for this: what about the thousands of molestors EVERYDAY that go ignored by the media and/or don't get caught... Why do we have to hear about this one case over and over just because the guy is a fucking billionaire/famous?

It also reminds me of the Pope dying... too bad my funeral won't be that fucking elaborate!

_All sex crimes are reported equally here -I am not in the USA- & all of them are just as important, but I think since Michael Jackson is so famous that is "normal" for the media to go insane over the case -there is also the fact that there were previous allegations which adds to the whole incident & that the famous think to believe they are above the law/should be treated differently-

& last but not least, if you want an elaborated funeral, make sure a lot of people consider you as important as some considered the pope; that would do the trick & you will get an elaborated funeral -maybe even televised-

 

I've been spending a little more time reading up on the two wars our country is going thru than the Michael Jackson trial, but I aint going to pretend I don't talk about it, because I'm only human.

I believe he's guilty. I did believe he was innocent of his original accusations for a very long time, but I don't believe that anymore. That being said, I've never met the man, or the family. I wasn't there. I don't actually know what happened.

If he's innocent, g-d bless him. If he really just enjoys the presence of children and is, well, a wee bit loony, but is not a pediphile, than this whole thing is very sad and I hope the best for him. If he's guilty, I hope he gets locked away for a long time, in either a jail or a mental institution.

I hope that the jury makes the right decision.

I think michael jackson is one fucked up cookie, out of touch with the world, and with plenty of problems. That said, I don't think he molested the boy; the accusation is probably an attempt to cash in on the fact that michael jackson is a little "off".

At this time, the jury found Michael NOT GUILTY on all 10 counts. Enough said.

well, they say he's innocent. Therefore he's innocent. He's still a freak of nature, but allegedly innocent nonetheless.

 

THEREFORE, her son couldn't POSSIBLY have been the victim of a sexual assault? What kind of logic is that? The kid was pimped out by his mother, that doesn't mean he wasn't harmed. The jury tried the mother, not Jackson.

This child was victimized more than once. By his mother, by Jackson and then by the jury (most of whom do beleive Jackson IS a pedophile.)
