hi everyone ok i have been debating on what i should do.. I am on concerta for a.d.d. but it is a stimulant so it has been giving me some anxiety.... I also have depression, been on sarafem while ago and it didnt work for me..... I heard wellbutrin is good for depression, but can cause anxiety... What my question is does anyone know of a pharmaceutrical (most likely didnt spell that right) that helps with depression and anxiety????? oh oh anyone out there take wellbutrin??? How did it work? Did you get any kind of anxiety effects from it?? peace out
I have bipolar and a.d.d. I have done wellbutrin gave me mad anxiety. for me a drug called atarax generic name hydroxyz has worked for me for years. You might talk to your Dr. and give it a try. good luck
Wellbutrin gave me the worst panic attacks I think anyone has ever had. I freaked, like wanted to kill people and myself. I couldn't breathe or stop moving, I felt like a caged animal. It was horrible. I am sure there is somehting else. Good luck.
I took Wellbutrin for years. It makes me a little manic, but I kinda like that to an extent. It made me dream in a disturbingly realistic way, to the point that I had some trouble distinguishing dreams from reality. That was pretty minor, though, for me. It doesn't sound like a good option for you. SSRI medications, and the newer SNRI's are good for both anxiety and depression. Effexor XR (an SNRI) may be a good option for you, or Lexapro (SSRI)
Wellbutrin worked well for me when combined with Xanax for anxiety. (I had anxiety anyway...) Your doctor could prescribe those together for you.
what symtoms would the doctor have to see to prescribe you xanex ? i am on 300 mgs of wellbutrin right now

I was having mild anxiety (if theres a such thing) and I was perscribed Buspar, Busporione, for it. I was pissed because I was hoping for something even reacreationally possible. I snorted 15 miligrams of this Buspar, im on 5, and got a crazy body high then threw up 3 times. GROSS
BuSpar (buspirone) is NOT recreational whatsoever. . . Does it help with your anxiety? That is much more important than a drugs abuse potential.
