Mushrooms in Illinois

i have never found any mushrooms in all my searching, does anyone know what species (if any) grow in Illinois, (around the chicago land area) and where?

Yeah I was wondering about this myself. I think you might be able to find some if you found a good cowfield, and I'm not even 100% sure about that. But I don't think you can find em just growing in the wilderness like you can in some states...

 

nothing here in the midwest, and if there are, im sure they are verrrrry rare.
