How many of you in here like this band sober or high? I would have loved to have been 17 in 1969 and all, but I think 17 in 1994 would be great as well. The grunge era was awesome, I was just a little kid but I can remember it, my sisters friends were grunge. Bands like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Collective Soul, Faith No More, Dishwalla, Blind Melon, all that sort were awesome. Sandal Wood incense are the best ever made btw.
ack, that band (AIC) is so depressing to me. Too bad that one guy ruined himself on drugs, though. I dunno, I just never got into grunge. I do like collective soul, though.
Yeah ur probably right shhhhh Im talking The music of today does suck tho. Only a few good bands out there but not many.
there's lots of good bands, if you're listening to the right stuff and know where to look. Most (but not all) of the radio tunes are pretty bland and crappy, unless it's a college or indie station, which are getting rare.
There are no college or indie stations around here. Only a good classic rock, and alternative station that plays a lot of hendrix. Mainstream sucks these days, it use to be pretty good a long time ago. I listen to mostly underground stuff anywayz.
I agree, most of mainstream does suck. Not all of it though, in my opinion. But yeah, most new music I get into is by word of mouth, not the radio or TV.

fuck I was 9 in '94 and I remember it quite well. but my mom always listened to the 60's radio station so thats how I grew up. I would have liked to have been 20 in '69 though.
I love AIC, one of my favorite bands. It's a shame Layne OD'd. Jerry Cantrell is still makin music tough. He did guitar and harmonized vocals in AIC. If you like AIC check out Degredation Trip by Jerry Cantrell. It is just as good as AIC.
