Baby Kangaroos are about the size of a jelly bean when they have to crawl across the mothers fir all the way to her pouch. Either the mother is somehow communicating with the baby in ways we cant see, or animals are just complex robots programmed for a certain "task".
thank you for that little bit of information. I honestly do not feel that I could have made it through the night without it.
alot of animals have things programmed into them, they dont learn it in any way..... like a butterfly, how does it now how to fly when it has never seen its mother?? or how and when to form a coccoon when its a caterpillar? with dogs too, have you ever seen them scratch the ground and turn around in circles while pawing the ground?? this can happen on level ground, why do they do that?? because its bred into them...... their ancestors used to do it to level out the grass when they wanted to lay down.... the dogs themselves probably dont even know why they do it.
baby kangaroos look so gross. we watched a video on it in biology and they zoomed in on the kangaroo giving birth, man, nature's beautiful but it can be pretty ugly sometimes! the mother doesn't do anything to help it, it does the opposite by ignoring it.. i think maybe the babies can smell the teats in the pouch and just go towards the smell, or towards the heat. they can't be that smart, jelly bean animals must have veery small brains
i bet you could. Do they connect to the ambilical chord inside of the puch or something, or is it just a pouch of fir?
