the past couple weeks i felt shitty, so i finally got tested and well i have mono. great. extra great because the next 3 weeks are filled with all kinds of party and tradition events for my GRAD, and i can't participate in any. not to mention my long distance boyfirend is coming down to my town for the first time in months for a week soon and i'll be sick while he's here. whaaat did i do to get this? it wasn't from kissing, it must've been from something else. argh. not only that, but i just got hired at a great job last month and was making better money than i ever have before and planned to save up to go travelling, however, because i haven't been able to work for a week they had to replace me. so i'm also out of work. i love life.
I had mono a few years ago. I didn't get it from kissing either. My boyfriend at the time didn't have it and he was the only one I had kissed. I have no idea how I caught it. It was bad at first,but it got better little by little. I would still go on about my life usually,but I had to rest alot. Like if I went to a outdoor event,I would end up sitting in the grass somewhere if I walked around for very long. So my advice to you,would be to take it easy and get plenty of rest. Hopefully,you will start to feel better and you can still enjoy your time with your boyfriend.
well your lucky my friend got it bad had to go to the hospital he had to stay there for three days they have no idea how he got it he had to go on stroids,i got a virus like mono the beggiing of the year it lasted two months and i had a thraot infection and a sinus infection on top of it.
My little cousin got it from another kid in nursery school when he was four! She had gotten it from an older sibling. It sucked man, at our family reunion we had to be careful and not hug and smooch him. It ws hard coz he's sooooo cute with a head full of golden curls!
so last night things got out of hand and i could barely breathe, coudln't move, was puking up stomach lining (i hadn't eaten in about 2 days), in too much pain to keep my eyes open, and they had to call an ambulance to get me to the hospital where they did all these tests and pumped me full of steroids and some other things to make me stop puking .. which i have to stay on for about a week. i feel a little better right now because of the meds.. but man.. what a horrible experience. worst of my life!!!! thank you for your replies..
