hi I'm studying abroad in england for 6 weeks this summer and I'm going to buy a bike froma thrift store (ie. oxfam)or the market. about how much do used thrift store bikes cost? Thanks Tracy
rather than look in charity shops, you'll probably have more luck if you look in the ads sections in the local paper for where you will be, or free ads papers. there is also a paper called loot which is good for secondhand stuff. also have a look in the paper for carboot sales. i don't know how much you would pay, depends on the bike but some people will sell them for a tenner or a fiver just to get rid of them.
