Uk Film festivals

Hey y'all, does anyone know of any film festivals mainly aimed at student and uncommisioned artists in the UK. I've just finished putting together my submissions for this summers festivals and just checking around to see if there's anymore out there that have missed mine eyes.

There's the Salford Film Festival but I have a feeling it's just passed. Worth checking out though, it got coverage on The Culture Show.

 

Aberystwyth have an arts festival, I think its also a film festival.

Looks like they're accepting submissions for the Leeds International Film Festival (Nov 05) right now... unfortunately you missed the young person's one, think it was in March.

Thanks guys, thats a few more to send the ole' stuff round. I missed out on Bradford's ani last year, hoping to go down this year! If it doesn't clash with the zappa tour...either way is cool...la la la

 

My friend is always entering and winning film competitions, I'll ask him if there are any coming up when I next see him. Will probably be in the pub on Friday so I'll get back to you on that one.
