depends on a lot of variables. where? (different places have different laws) who? (NOT their name - is their a previous criminal record, how old are they, etc) how much cid? any other charges? can they afford to hire a lawyer?
yea i often wonder this too. Whats teh penalty for simple possesion? like if the cops found 1-5 hits on u?
well i dunno all the details... i know it was in ohio and the house he was at got raided and a bunch of L was found and some of them got trafficking and stuff but he just had possession.... i know the traffickers can get up to 10 years but i was just trying to figure out what simple possession was.... im not sure how much it was.
Possibly no jail time at all for simple possession, just probation/community service/fines; for possession/intent maybe upwards of 9-12 months, depending on previous criminal record and the amount found on the suspect...
at some point, you'd be charged with conspiracy against the government; i imagine that would get you life in prison.
I read this one thing and if you have 10 hits I think but im not to sure cuz it was so long ago but I think you can get like 10-15 years for it. They consider it man slaughter just like having alot of X cuz people can die if you give them that many.
yeah thats bullshit. if you use the mail you get ten years. otherwise its all about the state laws. I got 5 years for 2.5 hits.
well they said that the traffickers could get up to 10 years and that he had a lesser charge than that so I figure it would be less than 10... just wondering how much less.
The problem with LSD law in America is that the carrier medium's weight is used in the determination of how much LSD they had. So a couple of sugar cubes is worth as much time as a few sheets... fucked up eh.
now baby girl,, ya know theres a variable to all this as well as i,,, not like he aint been in a "bind" in shall we say in a similar circumstance.. heres what i can find.. all feloneys if its lsd,, .. an you know his "situation."ya know they at the least its will impose the maximum sentance on him no matter what the degree it is....sad but true.. but hey on the bright side if its a 5th degree,, he should be out in 6 months... Ohio state law.. 3. Prison Sentence Ranges for Five Categories of Offenses Based Only on the Offense of Conviction. As ya see the extrapolate the dosages,, no matter how they get ya into the "sentancing" guidelines... although after reading it again,,, i guess your right.. tis kinda a fucked up way of doin things ,,, hmmmm no but its says "hits" an then clarification for weights of other forms.. any way it gos,, i wouldnt wanna be them fuckers...
Damn that's harsh. jake, 10 hits of LSD will not kill anyone, people have taken 20,000 doses and lived to tell the tale.
Well, that's how it used to be, that's why there are shitloads of deadheads serving years and years for some sugar cubes, and some people serving the same for having sheets... besides, that's just ohio state what you pasted there
i done edited,, takes me a second ,, shit man just got home from babylon an had to google all that shit for hippylove then it was 420 then,,, ah man,,, lucky .. Luv~N~Lite...
It's all good man it happens.. i actually thought for a second that they might have updated their laws due to lack of logic... but looks like ignorance still prevails in the good ole land of fear.
Amazing is what I have to say, that in the land of the supposed free people are not allowed to decide what to put into their own bodies. You have child molesters, rapists and murderers allowed to be free all the time, only to commit more crimes, and law enforcement is spending millions and millions of dollars to bust peaceful people who use psychedelics recreationally. This society is just so hypocritical.
I'm glad you found that HHB... i looked for a long time trying to find something like that and I just got more frustrated and upset and pissed Thanks!
Right. A bunch of fat rich politicians tell us we're born free but can't put what we want into our own bodies. I'm dealing with this type of legal BS right now, they seized my car and all my belongings in it thanks to the war on drugs. This was thursday and they still haven't let me get my house keys, my ID, or my phone. They've taken a real fucking threat to the public off the streets, let me assure you. Them keeping my identification and house keys is also detrimental to their investigation, I am sure. If anybody is interested, you can read more in detail about that story in the psychedelics forum the thread is "It's Officer Ignoramus to You!"
