Hey, I live with my 4-year-old daughter in the Gila Mountains of New Mexico. Rhiannon was born natural birth, breastfed, carried in a sling, eats organic and native foods etc., She even knows how to find and pick lots of the native foods here! I am codirector of the Earthen Spirituality Project and every July Rhiannon and I host a Wild Mamas weekend. I read this forum a lot and thought some of you might be interested. Wow, This sounds amazing and definitly something that I would like to take part in. I have plans for July ....I'm going camping on the 4th of July weekend, and heading to Reno to visit family on the 15th-the 28th.......but if I could squeeze it in somewhere, I would, not that far from me. But even if you couldn't come specifically for the Mama's Gathering you could come on your own with your little one(s) for a retreat. We also host a Wild Foods Weekend Aug 19-21 open to whole families to learn how to indetify and prepare local wild foods. If anyone's interested, check out the website too cuz there's tons of info!
