I want to completely destroy my dad's PC. [period]

He doesn't have any kind of protection on that thing. And one time I tried to save his ass and installed AV software on that piece of junk. And I got myself a lecture about how that sh*t ain't mine and stuff.

I want to completely destroy that sh*t, I wan't something that will slowly eat up that HDD just so that he notices when it's already too late...

So what I need is some kind of bug that'll do the job to perfection.:X

Anybody got any idea how destry a PC over a period of time...?:&

 

uhh....don't use any AV, no spyware protection, don't do windowsupdate, and use IE?

is he behind a router? put his computer in the DMZ, so it gets no hardware firewall protection.

change all his IE settings to lowest security, enable any ActiveX that feels like running.

download bonzibuddy.
download anything with 'gator' in the name
fire up kazaa or something, and type in 'dialer'
download a bunch of cracks and hacks for games, a lot of them are usually trojans on kazaa

start --> run --> regedit --> muck around in there, delete random stuff.

run keyloggers, find his passwords and change them.

turn off his system restore, so he can't use that to fix it.

unplug his optical drives.

toss a magnet inside the case.


i could go on and on and on and on....

Yea a well placed magnet will do, but that will cause physical damage and i dont think you want that. I suggest you erase hit boot sector...if hes unexperienced that will cause him a fair amount of trouble, there are some programs out there that can do that for you, but its fixible.

 

You could enjoy Kazaa without protection and share your whole h**,surf the net to certain webpages and pick up an evil script or install blub****which is loaded with spyware and the downloaded files also contain a lot insects and other thingies....
Or you could just try to take it easy and relax a litle...

He did that to my computer he either sleeps for several weeks in the backyard or well cut grass until he saves enough for a new one. or both.

 

Set Goatse or Tubgirl as wallpaper. It won't destroy the computer, but he'll sure wish it did.

Blame it on a virus or something. Hell, if he's using an older version of Windows, I'm sure there's something you could put in the autoexec file to change it back to that image on every startup no matter if he tries changing it.If I remember, settings like the file used as the desktop wallpaper are in some config file somewhere. Just make a copy of that and change the file to whatever you want it to be, then set your autoexec to replace the real file with the one you made.

Ok here's the PC's background...

It runs WinXP Pro SP1. Has never ever ever eveeer had any critical updates or patches put on to it.

So me being the loving, caring and considerate son that I am. I try to save his ass the stress of having to panic when something wrong happens. I get some stuff from work to update his PC so that his info is as secure as possible. But noooo, what does he do, he throws it back in my face and says I should try and make his PC look like the one I use at work coz it's NOT MINE.

The thing is, I work a good 400km away from home, so everytime I go home, I take something I think might be useful home, so I can do some damage controll. But he doesn't appreciate.

Another thing is... I don't want to the damage to be traced back to me. Coz then he'd kill me dead!

So i want something that can be done remotely. Like that REGEDIT thing can it be done remotely????:X I'll probably need the IP.

Maybe the damage can be done via email attachment. The damn idiot doesn't send out any emails coz he thinks you get charged for every email you send. Like SMS.

Maybe a program that formats the HDD silently on re boot, or something like that...

I know he wants to buy a car (BMWs 4X4s) and such. So something along those lines will be greatly appreciated.
