Doctor Who and the Daleks?

The 1965 one with Peter Cushing and Roy Castle. I had decided recently to do lots of catching up on history of Doctor Who and thought I might as well check out the Peter Cushing films as well. To be honest I can't remember why I watched it all the way through. Dreadful acting, no plot, terrible lines and the Daleks are made out to be cute cuddly colourful pepperpots who go on and on about being evil creatures but never bother to exterminate anyone. The whole thing is Dire, and nothing I can think of, not even the appalling waste of time that is Moulin Rouge comes close to this pile of crap.

If the name hadn't been taken, it should have been called Carry On Doctor. All it needed was Barbara Windsor to be some sort of servant to Davros.

But shirley, that film was a joke, it was meant to look daft wasn't it?

Rather like that fantastic spoof Jack Frost - the one with the Mutant Killer Snowman. It's class!

Best spoof horror film though I think is Scream. Shame that it spawned Scary Movie, the absolute no-no in comedy, NEVER make a spoof of a spoof!

Oh and I hope people aren't just nominating films they don't like just for the sake of it, my intention was really to discuss what a shit film Doctor Who and the Daleks is!

i really can't think of anything worse than that..
i'm almost embarrassed to even say i went to see that shit..the title alone sounds idiotic..what was i thinking..(oh yeah, it wasn't all my fault..i went cause my friend likes Angelina)

 

Matt, are you nuts? Attack of the Killer Tomatos is a cult classic. Its purposefully meant to be watched stoned with a group of friends for a laugh!

Just as one would want to watch Buckaroo Bonzai across the 8th Dimension.

For terrible, vile films that are too offensive to sit through I can think of nothing worse than I Spit on Your Grave.

Now that is a film that should be burned and its director strung up.

 

Ooh you may be right there. That film was really trying to entertain as well as trying to watch.

Fortunately for me I didn't go and see it, I just downloaded it and suffered it from the comfort of my own bed. Wasn't too surprised, Jude Law always did get up my tits, he's a corporate whore. For one thing, if I were playing that part I'd have either played it with an american accent or changed the lines so that they make sense coming from an Englishman.

 

And as if the film wasn't bad enough, you should have seen the people that were sitting next to us..the woman next to me laughed every 2 minutes..couldn't figure out why but i can tell u it was extremely irritating..
especially cause there is not one funny line in the whole movie..
i guess she was on the same drugs as the person that made this catastrophe

 

And I thought Ms Jolie was in the habit of choosing which films she did and turning down all the shit ones. nope, can't be her as she did Alexander as well!

 

she probably did the movie because she remembered the comic or series or whatever from back in the day. my mom wanted to see it because she remembers it from when she was younger

 

Just saw it this weekend, and there's nothing worse than "House of Wax"

I didn't actually pay to see it, but rather it was on the second billing at a drive-in theater.

Only redeeming quality of the movie is watching Paris Hilton get a metal pole shoved through her head.

 

Copper Mountain.. rent it, watch it, then shoot yourself in the face.....yes, it was that bad...

 

Hmmm...If you say that Dr. Who and the Daleks is bad, it probably is....

But....

Closer and Cabin Fever left me wanting to kill....I hated them...
