    I MIGHT be swiping this from someone in here, or it could be off Tribe.net, but I read a post a couple weeks ago that said roughly:
    "Meat, to me is like seeing a lightbulb on a plate.
    I don't consider it food."

    Just though I'd (re)share that with everyone.

    thats how i feel about artificial foods with ingredients lists that look like the back of a chemistry set.

    drumminmama: That is an excellent quote. I used to say, "When I think of food that isn't vegan, I don't think, 'I can't eat that anymore,' I think, 'I can't eat that (period).'"

    However, your quote puts what I have been trying to say much more eloquantly. Thank you! =)

    Ah, HF credit to jazzmama!

    I still remember it from Tribe as well...could still be the same person, or it the latest low-impact version of "gads, do people really eat that?"
