Vancouver, BC and Grass

i'm moving up to canada, to attend a Proffesional Recording Arts Insitute, and i heaerd alot about the mellow marijuana culture in British Colombia.....i've heard people say, that much like Amsterdam, in Vancouver you can find grass in shops, and purchase it quite easily, is this true? or is this some blown up rumor? either way i'm very excited about moving up north....hope you can help....

 

You wont find it in shops, but youll find it almost everywhere else, BC has a huge abundancy of growers, and some really good weed. But remember, its still not legal, even in BC.

 

There are, or there were shops where you could buy and smoke. I haven't been back there in a while and I heard some had been closed down/re-opened so who knows now. There's definitely shops where you can bring your own and smoke. It's not legal but unless you're being an ass no one is likely to bother you. You shouldn't really need to find a shop cause it seems like everyone and their dog has got connections out there.

 

yea there are quite a few shops u can buy it from, but they all sitff u, pretty much .9 or 1.0 Grams for 10$ which will roll up 3 pinner doobs.

well i did a little more research and found what was dubbed the "green zone"? ever heard of it? and i found a few shops that sell and let you smoke there.....and ten dollars for a gram is not a bad price....and if thats considered a "stiff" price, i can't wait to buy from someone else.....

 

never heard of the green zone, most places that sell are in the downtown core,

but yea, the grams i usually buy/sell will roll 3 nice sized joints, the ones u buy from the stores will roll 3 toothpicks

 

ummm shit...dj....damn......10 bucks a g. for BC bud? 10 a g is standard for mids everywhere ive been...

 

hey, at least u can still get grams for 10$ alota ppl probably cant
