My take on the Rede: Doing your Will does not mean doing anything your little hear t desires. To me, doing your Will is like fulfulling your destiny, walking the path you were meant to lead. Alot of times, following your mundane and trivial daily desires can severly detract from that... That's why meditation and divination help, to clear your mind from mundane trivia in order to reconnect with your Will... And not doing Harm doesn't mean you never cause pain... Like, going through withdrawl from a drug addiction is not fun, but it's not Harm. Any feedback?
I agree.... you can't just do what you want you have the three fold law to think about, karma, however you want to put it. It's kinda like the golden rule we all need to live by: do unto others as you'd like done to you.
There's a reason why that 'do unto others' rule exists in every religion - worded differently, but same deal, and you're absolutely right. Whether you believe you get your comeuppin's in this life time or the next, it's a good rule of thumb to live by.
