How irritating. Last night I went out w/some friends, two of them have those electric scooters, so after the bar we went to their place to get them. We rode them around in the streets for awhile and one of the scooters had a low tire so we set off to go pump it up at a gas station. We finally found one and when we went to pump up the tire my friend noticed that the cap was missing from the valve. We looked around forever at the station, it was nowhere so it obviously came off earlier, but she wouldn't believe it. She kept saying, "don't worry about it guys, it's just a cap", but she was really worried about it and kept us looking forever. It was definitely not our fault, she was the one riding it the whole time and we had the other one, I sat on the lap of the other driver. Even on the way back she kept repeating "Don't feel bad, it's not your fault", well no duh! I was thinking, uhhh, don't worry I definitely don't feel bad! She was drunk, but still I hate when people try to insinuate that you're to blame when you're not.
god, i know... ive had all too many experiences with that. my conclusion??? some people are just so immature (even though they dont think they are)- that they HAVE to blame the other people there (in their passive/aggresive way, about what goes wrong).... shit like that has made me lose friends cause i used to argue... but now, i just dont talk and realize they're at where they are at and i guess they cant help that...
it was fun, and the streets were pretty much deserted. I was a little nervous about being a passenger though, I prefer to be in control. I don't drive anything else when I'm drunk though.
oh yeah, actually she did wipe out and had blood running down her leg, but she didn't even care, she was more concerned about that dumb cap.
Pretty obvious; the body will produce more blood to replace the lost blood, but the cap might be gone forever.
