what do you want to do when your older?

anyone care to share their dreams/future plans?
my plan after i finish hi school(or my junior year dont know yet), im gonna buy a van and make it look cool, and travel america and canada with a bunch of friends selling tiedye clothing and hemp jewelry, and holding seminars(that might not be what they are called) that educate people about the safety of smoking marijuana and telling them the lies that their counselors, teachers, and parents have told them. i am also going to fight for animals rights and stricter punishments for people who are found guilty of animal cruelty. but thats just me. what do u think?

 

Where my feet take me. I really don't want to talk about it much, but I mean... everyone tells me to go into politics.. but I don't really like politics. I'd rather go into law. I don't know. I like music, but I mean, I can't take that seriously.

I really want to join Americorps and then the Peace Corps and then work as a United Nations Volunteer. Later become a school psychologist. I know that my years of school would have been easier if there was someone there to help me out. Does anyone here think that being a school psychologist would be a help or not?

boring is staying in one spot and not moving around and i cant stay in one spot i have to move from place to place and do whatever i want

 

Yeah, but what are you going to do for food, money, family, insurance, gas, family, shelter, education? There's so many aspects that go into making up a 'life' nowadays, that you can't really just be completely 'free-spirited.' Believe me, if it were that easy, I'd join you in a second. But we all can't do that. You've got to DO something and you've got to BE something, and if not for anyone but yourself, fine. But it's not as simple as scraping by every day, every week, every month. Pretty soon you'll run yourself ragged just to make ends meet. In order to REALLY be free, you've got to work and make options available at your own effort. Don't sell yourself short just to oppose the system, because frankly, they're not going to care. Oppose the system by DOING things for yourself and MAKING it an option to oppose them. Otherwise, they are still going to have the advantage of everything but so-called freedom. And this was not a lecture, because I would join you just as soon as it were possible. But you've got to live for yourself, and be the best you can, at everything, right?

By the way, if anyone cared to read that whole thing... I'd like to either train to be a tattoo artist, or do some kind of illustration. Along those lines, I could also teach art classes in high school. Have the summers off. Maybe have a shop of some kind to manage as well. Settle down out west. That's do somethin for yourself.
