I was just wondering, what do you guys wear in public that is the most comfortable but still considered "tasteful" and straight? It is very hot here and often wearing shorts and t-shirt is still sweltering.

Tank top or shirtless, loose shorts (no underwear) and bare feet...except for when I'm naked at the beach, of course :)

The most comfortable thing I wear in public is a (short-sleeved) tee-shirt and jean shorts.

I'm never comfortable when it's hot. After walking a lot my thighs start to rash up from rubbing. I'm not fat, but I am a large-build frame.

Other than that, anything cotton. Pile it on and take off the unnecessary as you go along.

I almost always go out with socks and sandles, and almost never come back with the socks.

Habbit, and it often takes a few for my feet to get used to the outside air.

The thing with me is, (and I get this from my mother), if my feet are cold, I'm cold. Very cold. Soon as the feet get warm I'm fine.

In public? Shorts, t-shirt, barefoot. You can't get much more comfy in public.

Okay, this was by far my favorite answer. You're a cutie Kitty.

I love to wear my blue jeans. I've had them for four years and they're faded like hell, but they're very comfortable.

Yeah, I like wearin just my swimming trunks or surf shorts when I'm out and about too. :)

Today was a warm day, so I went swimming. Then, I had a bunch of errands to run so I did em all just wearing my swimming trunks. I had lunch at Togo's Sandwiches. The girl behind the counter seemed to like the fact that I was shirtless! :sunglasse Then I went to the grocery store. I always like going to the grocery store barefoot and shirtless. Their floors always feel so good on barefeet after walking through a hot parking lot!

Then I went to KMart. There were some people out in front selling t-shirts and they thought I was going to the store to get flip flops. I said "no Way", my feet don't need no stinkin flip flops. Flip flops are cool when I gotta wear shoes (like at work), but I don't like anything on my feet if I dont have to.

Finally I went by the golden arches for a quick bite. The clerk said "no shoes no shirt no service" when I walked in and then started laughing. He said they didn't care if I wasn't wearing a shirt and shoes! Very cool. He also said they have served quite a few guys who go there barefoot and shirtless. I think that's pretty cool, especially since Ive been to some McDonalds that are very anti-barefoot and shirtless.

All in all it was a great barefoot and shirtless day. I have very dirty soles to show that I was barefoot all over today, and I have a good tan from being out and about too.

I've just joined Hip FOrums again. It's good to be back...

i know i am. i just can't help myself.

i wear sarongs a lot around the house, but seldom in public. i wear them at clothing-optional festivals, too. jeans and tanks are what i wear most often, or indian tops if it's cool enough i can cover my arms. there's no in-between with me, i'm either completely covered head-to-toe, or practically (or actually) naked.

I have only jean shorts on if anything at all when the weather is cooperating, in my own semiprivate yard it is a shower wrap, or naked. shoes only when neccessary, such as work.

Would depend on where I'm going...mostly my ex-long T-shirt that goes just a couple inches above my knee, with nothing underneath. I wore that to go out to my mailbox or if I had to drive up to corner payphone or go thru the drivethru window at the little store.

If I'm just grocery shopping or visiting friends then I mostly wear my old hospital scrub tops....love the pockets to hold stuff...keys, gum, pens, wallet.
I would rather not wear shoes except at work (nursing home) otherwise I'm barefoot at home.

Also I like to have my watch on and a necklace that my dad made.

For some reason, since I moved to Phoenix last year I've been kind of obsessed with being nude as much as possible :) The absolute coolest (temperature-wise) thing I bought was a pair of very short nylon running shorts with slit sides. Because of the slit sides my legs feel extremely free, and the super-light fabric makes me barely feel anything on. I wear these shorts anytime I need to do anything in the yard, or walking the dog, in very casual situations when I am in public. I am very tempted to cut out the bikini-shaped liner, but if a wind gust were to come up I'd probably be seriously risking indecent exposure. That would make me feel practically naked, however.

Swim Trunks, running shorts or Baggy Cargo shorts and a Hat. A sunburn on the noggin can ruin the day. If it's not very warm a light shirt.

I'm very comfortable in Jeans, a t-shirt (normally a football shirt) and bare feet. If it's cold I'll wear a jumper as well, since while my feet rarely get uncomfortably cold, my upperarms can.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not that jeans and barefeet is the look I find most attractive in girls as well. But then, I'm a barefooter and I'm turned on by barefoot girls as well and since that's not true for everyone who's into just one or the other, then it may well coincidence.
