Need to stay in a commune on short notice

I'm trying to get out of here as soon as possible, I'm actually planning to leave the 5th. I've stayed up two nights in a row scouring ic.org looking for a place where I can call and show up on short notice, but I haven't found anywhere aside from Enota. I read in another thread that Enota is more like working without getting paid than living in a commune though, plus, they seem like great people but not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm willing to work over 40 hours a week, however much needs to be done. I don't care how many people are there, as long as theres at least 2 or more loving hippie folks, food, and a place to sleep. I'm just looking for somewhere to stay until I can schedule a visit with Twin Oaks, it probably wouldn't be more than a month. Any suggestions?

 

Try the Twelve Tribes...I heard they love visitors, but I also heard they were kind of a cult type thing. Good luck

 

doors always open here for short term stays 60 days or less is the general rule,.

Im planning on traveling to oakridge tennessee next year, so I can just kick it with you guys for a few days and do farm work?

 

sure can n if it just a couple days, ya dont really gotta even do farm work unlessin ya really want to

 

well I dont feel so great about crashin on some ones land without giving somthing in return.
