Whatever happend to this guy? Last I heard he was a security guard and got in trouble for beating up a fat obnoxious lady. Doesn't anyone know what's up with Gary?
Wow,I haven't heard anything about that. It's strange, imagining him beating up someone. Who knows...I haven't heard anything at all about him.
Yeah, he was at a store when a fat woman kept yelling and demanding autographs from him. Somehow he beat her up, because he felt threatened.
You were right! I searched it....that is crazy lol.... "Coleman appeared in court on November 2, 2000, charged with assault. He was ordered to pay bus driver Tracy Fields $1,665 for hospital bills resulting from a fight, stemming from an attempt by Fields to get Coleman's autograph whilst he was shopping for a bulletproof vest in a California mall.[1] (http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,3385,00.html) Coleman said he felt "threatened by her insistence" and punched her in the head." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Coleman

You all forgot. Gary Coleman was a candidate for the California governor during that recall election two years ago.
Gary Coleman on California ballot Thursday, August 7, 2003 Posted: 1503 GMT (11:03 PM HKT) (CNN) -- Gary Coleman, child star of the sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes," has placed his name among a host of other celebrities in the running for California governor. Coleman's candidacy was engineered by the East Bay Express, an Oakland-area newspaper, which paid his $3,500 filing fee, collected the necessary petition signatures and is promoting his candidacy in protest of the scheduled vote aimed at recalling Gov. Gray Davis. Coleman's campaign treasurer, Steve Buel, editor of the East Bay Express, told CNN that the actor's name "resonates with the voters." http://edition.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/08/06/candidate.coleman/
Dana something, the girl on Differnt Strokes, died of a drug OD. I saw her on one of those "what ever happened to....." show right before she died. She was working in a Dry Cleaners and had robbed a convenience store for money to buy drugs. She was crying on this show, saying, "Why won't anyone give me a chance? I want to act." It was really sad.
The problem with Dana from what I heard, was that her parents didn't do the best job of preparing her for life after the show. She once said that her mother used to keep her isolated from others too much during her years on the show.
I feel sorry for those former child stars on "Different Strokes", especially Gary Coleman. He was used by the entertainment industry and his foster parents. They robbed him blind.
