The #1 Reason I hate Michael Moore.

Seems like there's a lot of people here who love to lap up the bullshit Micheal Moore offers. Must be the same people who lapped up enough of Bush's same to get his sorry butt back in office.

Reality Based? For Christ's sake, the man is making movies here. Documentaries, yes, but not the same prosaic filler you can see 74 times a month on the History Channel, but the same movies that must compete with "Day After Tomorrow", "Ocean's 11/12"/13/14/15/16/17/31 (remember Friday the 13th Part 83941?), "Kill Bill", and the assorted WWF matches which we all know could never be staged, "There're so Real"

Yes he's fat. He eats good. He's got money. Because he goes out and tries to do a nice job once in a while. He could have been pissed at McDonald's because he overconsumed too much of their rapid-resale delicacies before he realized that may have been what was making him gain all the weight. He knows now, but some people are still blind to that fact even though they've heard about it elsewhere, and he is only making an attempt to remind them of it. What better way to do that than to produce a blockbuster movie that everyone is dying to see?

What Mike doesn't do is go all over the country, after a very socially poignant and disturbing event has occured, and try to defend the materialistic posssesions that were instumental in the genocide, completely dismissing the people involved because he doesn't want to go 'ethnistic' on us.

If you want to bust Micheal Moore's ass for making good movies, be my guest. Critics have been doing it since culture immerged. If you think he's fat, don't look at him. If you think he's full of crap, don't listen to him. You don't have to like him if you don't want to. He's just a poor boy born in Michigan, he doesn't matter any more than any other celebrity born in the USA or abroad. He's just trying to use his talents to make a difference in this sorry place we call our world. A lot of us have done that, a select few of us have been lucky enough to make money and changes in the process.

Moore is an imbecile. In Downsize This, he argues that O.J. Simpson is innocent and morally equates abortion with masturbation.

Ya gotta take what Michael Moore says with a grain of salt. At least Michael Moore isn't a hypocritical,double talking, Oxycontin junkie. Michael Moore may have some bs in his movies but he points out the things that are wrong with our government and society and that is the real reason why conservatives don't like him.

 

Some people actually realize that Moore and Limbaugh are equally full of crap. Not everybody's thinking is as simplistic as yours or your counterpart dittoheads on the right.

 

As usual Huck, you resort to personal attacks to hide the fact that you have nothing to say. Saying you must take another persons words with a grain of salt is another way of saying that they at least have some bs in em. Saying that conservatives hate Michael Moore beacause he knocks the goverment and society is not simplistic thinking but a simple statement of fact. I never said that I thought highly of Michael Moore or his films but I do like the fact that he stands up to the government,pokes fun at the government and makes a buck or two in the process.

The right wingers that blindly obey the president and spout off pseudo- patriotic and pseudo-religeous statements and slogans are the people that are truly guilty of simplistic thinking.

I'd say that Michael Moore is only half full of bs. Rush Limbaugh can't be completely full of bs because his nose is full of powdered Oxycontin.

Michael Moore is a disingenous & hypocritical propagandist with his head firmly up his large ass. People believe his crap, because they want to believe it to confirm their own world view.

Rush is just a Pompous Ass who just parrots the GOP line. Listening to him is like listening to a Bush Campaign infomercial.

Ann Coulter is simply a bombthrower. I don't think that even she believes what is coming out of her mouth half the time. But I think it's mostly an act.
