I am going to be in Amsterdam in the beginning of August and I need a place to stay. Prefererably a really great hotel that is not super expensive. I also want one that is close to some great coffeeshops and the red light district. Am I asking to much? Anyway if anyone could help me that would be great.
Hotel Abba is not located next to the RLD but prices are very reasonable rooms are clean, comfortable and they have a free breakfast every morning. http://www.europe-hotel-in.com/booking/abba.htm You may also want to try the Flying Pig Hostel closer to the RLD if you're not opposed to sharing a room. Prices are nice. http://www.flyingpig.nl/theHostels/downtown/downtownmore.htm Good Luck!
Hotel Winston ! Some people love it others hate it. The main thing though is that its clean, cheap and very central. Oh and there's a free brekky in the morning !! Plenty of rooms aswell so book early enough and you shouldn't have a problem.
