Why are you so serious about this?

No offense myrtje. I always thought you were cool too.

If you can't tell why I'm "so serious" then it's likely better left alone at this point. My points have been quite clear in my replies thus far.

Bottom Line. If you don't have something constructive to contribute why rape a post of it's worthiness by posting non-sensical crap (i.e. a huge map of Europe)?

Would you like it if someone else did this to a serious question of yours?

This Forum has so much more potential than to waste it on "prank" posts.

Eh.. no offence.. but first: the map did contribute since some people here were talking about Denmark being a neighbouring country of The Netherlands.. second: it's a free speech forum and she wasn't flaming or anything.. you are the one going offtopic by complaining and whining 'bout her.. and thirdly: I'm pretty sure you never went to the Random Thoughts section if you are in shock about this forum and it's supposed 'potential'.. hehe

Is there some kind of personal grudge against Myrtje or sth? Cause like she said.. why are you sooo serious about this? I truly hope you don't treat your RL with this attitude cause you gonna have a hard time dealing with life that way.. no offence.

I have nothing against myrtje whatsoever. Please.

Velvet, velvet velvet. Think you could take the time to answer a few questions for me now that you're finished.

Firstly, What is so serious about explaining where I'm coming from?

Secondly, Myrtje did ask "why", did she not?

Thirdly, Why are you "soooo serious" trying to "defend" myrtje and her huge map? BTW, I didn't see any useful replies coming from your end of cyberspace in regards to the original post here either.

It's a shame that you need to point to the "Random Thoughts" section in order to justify your comment about the Amsterdam Forums' potential. You're right I don't go to that section because it's not of interest.

How's about heading over to the "Mind Fuck!" section to post your non-sensical "pranks"? How's about keeping this section clean and useful for those of us that are interested in Amsterdam?

Free speech is a beautiful thing isn't it?

    No Offense.

I do understand why you didnt like it, and i know i asked for you to explain. But dude, can you really not see that youre way overreacting? Its just a map, ignore it. Someone said Denmark and the Netherlands were neighbours, i laughed, and posted a map. Thats it. Big deal. No long discussions about how i should always stay serious intended.

They need a mediation thread! I agree it was no big deal, it was pretty funny actually; but this was a new guy to the forums, and perhaps you should have given your sarcasm a little less bite. Still funny though. Original poster, laugh at yourself for the oversight.

In response to your question, Christiana is in a somewhat exageratted situation that tends to sway a bit with the prevailing political wind. They are technically squatters living on government-military land, even though this land had been abandoned by the Danish gov. They do not pay for water or electricity, they pay no taxes, make their own laws, and are currently protected by a "social experiement" law that codifies their existence.

This law has been threatened by the Danish Government several times, each time the people of Denmark have taken to the streets in protest. It seems as though the more the government wants to get rid of it, the more publicity and support it gets. I don't think they will take it away any time soon, and the longer they wait to shut it down, the more difficult it will be to do so.

Honestly people, I'm sure by this point it does seem like overreacting since I've had to reitterate my points three or more times.

Is posting my opinions and answers to questions "overreacting", or is it simply the fact that you don't care for what I have to say?

Sincerest apologies to all of you who feel I was/am overreacting. Not my intention.

    BTW, Velvet.

    STFU Already!

    No offense.
