OH OH OH OH exciting!!!!!!!!! i'll bring acrylics!!!!! they'll be a lot better! raargh! so who exactly is going next weekend?
Well who knows! It said it was going to rain all last weekend but it was hot and sunny! *fingers crossed* Stardust is bringing a gazebo thingy so we'll have a communal place to go if there are any showers though, so alls good
Thanks guys Also thankyou Mike for sorting tentless people places to kip and Showmet for helping me sort out the food and beer list on a tight budget Heres the location of where we're camping... have decided against the orchard idea and gone back to plan A (ish) ... At least it's free! The red dot is where we are camping... Huddersfield centre / station is down Westbourne Road >>>>>>>>>>>>> that way ! (p.s. it turns into Trinity Street the further you get to town) If you drive down Heaton Road past Dingle Road, there is a dead end thingy (as shown above). It has plenty of parking and if you walk up the higgledy piggledy steps you will enter the field from the back. It's Yorkshire Water land and is often used by travellers etc as it's private land so the police can't chuck you off.... DON'T PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man-in-a-Shed will know where I mean cos we found an interesting spider and a mystical crater whilst shrooming there last summer Hugs Clairexxxxx
Claire, me love, I'm not sure whether I will be able to make an appearance at the weekend after all. After a rather ridiculous night of drinking, I have had to spend the last 2 days recovering (I am never drinking again...I swear!), and therefore I am waaaaaaay behind on my revision. I may just be able to come down for friday night and a bit of saturday or something, I'll see what I can do. I can't seem to find any bus/train timetables on the web for leeds to huddersfield or harrogate to hudderfield....can anyone point me in the right direction?????/
The trains from Leeds to Huddersfield run fairly regularly. I wouldn't recommend the bus. I went to Huddersfield from either Wakefield or Leeds on the bus once, and it must have taken about two and a half hours. Seriously.
