Deep Throat revealed!

The most compelling scandal in American politics was Watergate. Now Ben Bradlee let us in on his little informer. The man is W. Mark Felt who is an ex FBI agent who was once every high in rank. Now He is a 91 year old man living out his days in California.

 

Boring. I was hoping it would be somebody exciting.

 

I thought it would be kissinger, he just has the right type of voice.

 

i thought it would b cool if it was george bush senior. But there goes the last real secret there ever was

 

This is a really interesting news story. None of the websites I've looked at have mentioned how they found out though...did Mark Felt come forward with this, or did someone leak it to the press? If so, who? I thought the only ones who knew his identity were Woodward, Bernstein, and Deep Throat?

 

I am pretty sure Mr. Felt talked to a lawyer who published the article or something of that nature.

 

Everybody knows that this is the real Deep Throat.

 

He (deep throat) admitted it in an article of Vanity Faire...

Non-Christians might not be very interested in this, but I felt the same dismay as the author when I heard Colson's comments:

Yeah, the entire notion that watergate would have been better handled if Felt went to the FBI instead of the press is laughable. If he would have done that we'd have never heard of the entire matter, and ford would've never been president.
