http://www.livejournal.com/users/ldreamer/272091.html#cutid1 I posted these in Random thoughts but its really art related, these are pictures of my latest modeling adventures. Painted up and with a manniquine, check them out.
Nice, Crystal, you look smolderingly sensual in that photo sequence; just wandering around & saw the new posting. I really like those. You were talking about being body painted. Maybe some day I'll be manic-in-austin-too...or not. There's a guy in Deep Ellum big on that. I've seen some of his work. I've done some body painting before, but limited. I did a lot of calligraphic flowers & entwined work on window sills & walls. Basement windows are great, but not many here. I airbrush & have all the stuff. I'd like to try that sometime. Those 2 friends just sent me some links to an Opera she's doing the makeup for, which is another thing they're into. Very cool stuff, and I'm sure could let me know which paints are safe if I ever got into it. He was my original inspiration on the airbrush. But I prefer Photoshop for neatness. There's some traditional airbrushing of mine U-No-Where 'Guess which?' Wish I was Manic Down There - Better than Manic in Here--Remember the scene in Blade Runner where Deryl Hanna (Kill Bill) is airbrushing around her own eyes? Nice thread — Have fun~ —I found a shot where she's posing as a manikin because Deckard (Harrison Ford) is hunting her—She'd just done her eyes makeup with airbrush...(Lots o' background noise from the toys...) Deckard searches... he has seen Pris posing as a doll... he approaches... takes off Pris's veil. Pris attacks...
It is cool. Detail is not so great with traditional airbrush. I mean it's good but takes forever! & masking which is so easy in P'shop is a big pain in the neck. I was thinking about selling my compressor to lighten the load for any move, but I hesitated when I thought about what I saw. I know I'm good with a brush & would flatter any lady. [email this part--it's a cunnng & clever plan/great idea! 50-50%] I think now I'm going to keep it & the three airbrushes I have. Anyway, enough about l'homme ici- —I love your stuff! You have a classic Mediterranean look about you. I lived there, Italy, La Cote d'Azure, beautiful place. Oh yeah, that's what that gallery lady was saying I could get. I'll write more... Hey, check out this new Signature I just finished, my first & maybe last if it sucks... what do you think. Doing your thing last night got me started in this genre, mode, venue...I love this film & own two copies of the Director's Cut... Oh, I see why it crashed, because I tried to post my signature to you from my gallery manually on top of having checked my enable signatures which I didn't think I had done... Let's try it again...Now I don't have to use the smoking hippy icon, since I don't smoke tobacco. If it keeps you thin. Cool if you don't smell like it...
