nothing......he just can't find any other reason to argue with you....besides hes only 4 years old than you anyhow
So at 17 you are mature enough? I don't want to seem as if I'm flaming you or anything of that nature, but age I believe doesn't effect maturation as much as people seem to think. I may only be about 15 years old, but many people that don't know my age that I have spoken with online have guessed my age anywhere from 25-60. I'm not saying it just because I myself am very young, but different people mature at different speeds. So yes, maybe at 17 you could be mature enough, maybe you aren't until 23. I am sorry for the small rant, but it bugs me when people make references to age and maturity, even though I definately see the problems with maturity.
That wasn't my point fucknut...... naturefreak said that dipshitkid was only 13 and that was the reason he didn't get John Lennon...... I retorted sarcastically........ Age doesn't mean shit to me....
Ok, well thanks for over reacting and calling me a "fucknut", I was simply making a general point and using what you said as an example. I have nothing against you, I just didn't want age to start conflict on the thread, perhaps I shouldn't have said anything at all. My mistake, I apologize to anyone that I bothered.
are you illiterate? I just said age meant nothing to me.... I was agreeing with what you said. I called you a fucknut because I wanted to. Take offense to it, and thats your problem.
"Age only matters in fine wine and cheese." When I was a teenager, I was learning to play guitar, trumpet, baritone, and harmonica. As I became more knowledgable about music theory, song writing, and instruments, It opened me to new genres of music. Before I had a deep interest in music, I used to listen to the radio and listen to the bands the big music corporations wanted you to listen to you. It seems like a lot of bands are spewing crap out of a microphone and playing repetitive power chords. I don't see talent in that, it seems like they are in it just for the big bucks. Passion in music is lacking. Music is a journey with no set direction, let it follow you where ever it wants you to be.
Heh. Well anyway I could also see U2 being a little overrated, I like many of their songs but I don't think that they made as big of an impact that many of my personal friends believe.
TheGanjaKingthere are hundreds, if not thousands of bands out there that are way overrated...... Agreed and enough said, I am finished on the thread on that note. Have fun guys.
yeah in my opinion i would completly agree with that, funny enough i was doing a music performing course at college and i never knew what i wanted to play, mainly because i wasn't really into music...but i wanted to do music, was a weird feeling,...then i started to listen to the 60s - 70s and to me earlier music seems to be more melodic rather power chord based like todays standards..and that bores me as i listen to the music rather than lyrics
sometimes power chords can be repetitive... but other times they can help you release a lot of aggression
