Hello! I'm Nova. I am a 17 year old girl living in Tacoma, Washington. I have always been a quiet sort of hippie, rejecting the ideals of mainstream society, and doing my own thing. Knowledge is my passion. I read a lot more than the average person, always seeking to learn new things. I think humans are in no way superior to other creatures (we're just different!), and am a vegetarian.I don't like America's consumer society at all, or much else about this violent country, and would like to go off by myself and build a cabin in the woods, like Thoreau at Walden Pond. Authors who have influenced my thinking are: Henry David Thoreau, Jean M. Auel, Tom Wolfe, Ken Kesey, Hermann Hesse, J.D. Salinger, Sylvia Plath, Homer, Jack Kerouac, among tons of others.
