***Basslines***

hey, i was wondering if anyone could suggest tunes with nice and easy basslines that I could use to practice....been playing bass since january and i'm kinda stuck playing the same stuff hhehehehee

i would really appreciate your help guys!

 

Use some sublime songs.. Or try piggy by NIN, thats as easy as its gonna get.. When I started playing bass I used a lot of sublime songs, pennywise and 311.. but that's my personal taste.. don't know what music you prefer..

 

My favorite is "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones.

A really easy one (only one I can play :H ) is the bassline to "Satisfaction". go to guitartabs.cc, there's a complete tab (guitar/bass/drums i do believe too) for that song over there.

Try the performing arts section.

 

If you like the Bass, start listening to some Primus

 

"Come Together" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" are pretty easy.

 

Of Montreal has some kickass bass lines on The Sunlandic Twins.

 

if were goin with kickass basslines... try some Rage Against the Machine...

 

she said EASY basslines.... les claypools bass playing is far from easy....
