I would like to take a trip to Budapest this summer around the end of June. Would love to find out information from a local! I am not sure if I will be able to go though. I want to drive through Vienna to Budapest and then on to Belgrade, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Spilt, etc. down back through Serbia/Montenegro, Albania, and then down into Greece where I would take a ferry to Zakynthos. The problem is I have a USA registered vehicle that I was told would be confiscated in Croatia (and maybe other countries as well?) if I tried to enter the country. . I might end up flying or just taking the train.
